2 -27 August 2010 For learners from all over the world Every year in August the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna (DA) holds a summer course for German language and Austrian studies. This course has been successfully run since 1997 and is open to anybody 18 and over. Methodology Classes are communicative, learner-oriented and based firmly on the needs of adults. Subjects chosen for the language classes make use of both topical and authentic materials and include information on history, politics, economics and culture with of course, wherever appropriate, an Austrian slant. Small groups Teaching is in small groups.

Facilities The DA is located in a former Imperial palace in the centre of Vienna. Modern, well-equipped classrooms, a computer room, a comfortable common room and a garden all contribute to a pleasant and memorable time in Vienna.
